Filming at Trinity Church

Over the years, Trinity has been used as a site location for numerous films. It is a classic redwood church designed in the Craftsman style by the noted Los Angeles architect Arthur B. Benton and built in 1901. It has been named a Ventura County Historic Landmark.

In addition to filming, Trinity has played host to caterers for cast and crew shootings in Fillmore. Our Parish Hall can accommodate approximately fifty diners in one seating.

Our nominal rates are

   • $1,000 per day for filming inside the sanctuary
   • $750 per day for filming inside the parish hall
   • $500 per day or less for exterior filming

The rates may change based on the extent of modifications required and the length of time required.

Funds earned as a filming location have contributed to important maintenance and capital improvements that sustain the beauty and integrity of Trinity Church as a historical place of worship and service to the community.
