The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program is strongly supported by Trinity, and is regarded as an important formational process for our young people, although it also speaks to adults.
The “Atrium” is also an outreach to children who do not attend our church and while currently only a few children are enrolled, we see the program as having potential for growth. The Trinity program, while small in numbers, is exceptional in that the director is a catechist who promotes CGS nationally and is dedicated to its philosophy.
Christian Education for adults is primarily in the form of Bible studies, Lenten soup suppers with speakers, and shared summer reading with discussion. We also have two core groups which meet on a weekly basis and comprise 8-12 members each. These groups study the Bible, read and discuss books, and pray together. Members build strong bonds of community support for one another.
Trinity Care provides pastoral care and practical help to those who request assistance and to others who come to our attention. A lay ministry is developing to visit the home bound. The Trinity prayer list is maintained by this group.
Many church members have attended and are involved in the Cursillo movement. Fourth Day activities and Ultreyas ultimately refresh parish life.
